The design intent at our Maple Court project was to make the outdoor spaces feel larger and more inviting. The lush, green plant palette is the star of the show, with highlights including the Zoysia grass framing the custom built circular Blackbutt decking, A Gingko biloba ‘Lemonlime Spire’ emerging elegantly from the deck, Boston Ivy creeper adorning the timber arbour, and a delightful mix of Correa alba, Westringea, Buxus Japonica, and Buxus Sempervirens shaped into balls within the many garden beds that frame the property.

Bamstone Bluestone organic steppers are dotted throughout the garden to add extra personality and functionality, and custom built Cypress seats add rustic charm. A reflection pond with chute adds the calming sound of flowing water. The immaculate turf was a prerequisite for this client, who is an avid golfer. High performance turf variety Dominant Extreme Bentgrass, the ideal choice to form an at-home putting green, features throughout this garden. When the light starts to fade, curated landscape lighting highlights key features of the garden.

Maple Court has been regularly maintained by the Smart Landscapes team since installation to ensure the turf, trees and plants established and thrived as the design intended.
